On Friday 29 March, our 3/4 teacher and sustainability leader, Chantel Munoz, and Green Team parent, Samantha Smith, headed to the zoo and presented on our STEAM Clean the Bay project at the Steps 2 Sustainability Conference.
They were joined by over 200 teachers, environmental educators and local government officers who were on a mission to discover how to connect students to life on land and below water - including local waterways and Port Phillip Bay.
Chantel and Sam shared our school's sustainability journey, the grant funding support we received from the Victorian Government for our STEAM Clean the Bay project and showcased how we are implementing the ResourceSmart Schools program.
""We thoroughly enjoyed the day out meeting other teachers, sharing our 5 star sustainability story and getting lots of ideas to take back to school,"" said Chantel.
